Gokarna Tour
Gokarna, a town in Karnataka, is both a Hindu pilgrimage site and a rising beach destination. Known for its peaceful, sandy beaches, it's a blend of spirituality and relaxation. The name "Gokarna," meaning "cow’s ear," is tied to its mythological and geographical significance, as it sits at the confluence of two rivers, resembling a cow’s ear.
Murdeshwar Temple
Murdeshwar, another temple town in Karnataka, is famous for its towering Shiva statue—the second tallest in the world. It’s linked to the legend of Ravana and the atmalingam. While no piece of the lingam fell here, the covering cloth did, and the temple was built on this sacred spot. Nearby, Murdeshwar Beach offers a peaceful escape with its soft, silky sand, making it a perfect picnic spot.
